Guest Speaker: Tim Horsbrugh – Executive Member, Wairarapa PIA and Central Area Representative
Tim will begin the evening with a short update from the New Zealand Property Investors Federation, including insights into current advocacy work and developments affecting property investors.
The main presentation will then focus on Tim’s personal “mum and dad investor” journey — starting from nothing and building a property portfolio that enabled semi-retirement at age 55 while working a full-time job.
During the session Tim will cover:
• What makes a good investment property
• Common mistakes property investors make and how to avoid them
• Real examples of property projects used to improve cashflow
• Practical tips to help investors keep moving forward
• Market observations and predictions
This session will be presented in clear, practical language and is particularly valuable for newer investors, while still offering useful insights for experienced property investors. There will also be time for questions and discussion.
All Marlborough PIA meetings are held at Ray White Blenheim on the third Wednesday of each month, starting at 7:30 pm.
