Matt started his communications career by working for ACT in the late 1990’s. He then spent 10 years in the UK working for Southern Railway and London Underground, and most recently held senior roles at Ports of Auckland.
He is a property investor who has spent many years as a renter. He knows how rewarding it can be to be a landlord but also the problems that can arise and the flaws in our current laws.
His personal experience helps him represent and advocate for residential property investors and help NZPIF in its mission to lift standards in our industry and push for policy change that benefits both owners and tenants.
He will be giving us all an update on how he is lobbying on behalf of all property investors. as well as working with the media and what the plan is for next year, which is an election year.
We are holding our meeting this month (and maybe next month) at Club Southland as Harcourts are undergoing renovations.
